Mantra VERBIER 7066 outdoor wall light, graphite grey, 2×E27, IP65

Name: Mantra VERBIER 7066 outdoor wall light, graphite grey, 2×E27, IP65
Brand: Mantra

Mantra VERBIER 7066 is a square outdoor wall light with two E27 lampholders arranged side by side behind clear glass. A dark grey aluminium frame, specified as RAL 7024, outlines the glazed front and side panels. Its shallow, box-like construction keeps the two bulbs visible rather than hiding them behind an opaque shade.Choose the bulbs for appearance as well as lightWith this transparent enclosure, the shape of each bulb becomes part of the fitting's design even when the light is switched off. That makes bulb selection different from choosing a source for a frosted diffuser: both the visible glass envelope and the lighting characteristics matter. The bulbs shown in the manufacturer's photographs are illustrative and are not supplied with the fitting. You need two separately purchased E27 bulbs. The installation instructions specify LED sources rated at no more than 20 W each. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the bulbs you choose, rather than being fixed properties of VERBIER. Mantra lists this model as non-dimmable, so compatibility with a dimmer should not be assumed.A 22 cm square for the exterior wallThe front measures 22 cm high by 22 cm wide, with an overall depth of 8.2 cm. Compare these measurements with the available wall space beside an entrance, on a terrace or on a balcony before installation. Allow for the projection from the wall as well as the front dimensions. This is a wall-mounted fitting, not a freestanding garden lantern. Its outdoor designation and IP65 rating support use on exterior walls, but do not permit immersion in water. The installation instructions cover the connection and sealing arrangement. As a Class I fitting, it requires a protective earth connection.A framed alternative to a decorative lanternStraight profiles, clear panels and exposed bulbs give VERBIER a modern, minimalist and industrial character. The graphite grey outline stands out against a pale facade. Instead of ornamental arms or a traditional lantern roof, the design relies on a regular square frame and the visible pair of light sources.Show more
