LUMINES LED profile type Veda silver anodized 1 m

Name: LUMINES LED profile type Veda silver anodized 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES VEDA is an aluminium structural profile for linear lighting in suspended plasterboard ceilings. This silver-anodised version is a 1 m length with article code 10-0584-10. Its curved central section links two side channels for LED strips. It is a component for building a lighting assembly, not a finished lamp with a fixed wattage or colour temperature.Light from both sidesLED strips are fitted on both sides of the profile, allowing a symmetrical light arrangement. The manufacturer specifies strips up to 12 mm wide. Brightness, colour temperature and control depend on the strips and their power supply, rather than on the silver finish of the aluminium. Assess these properties for the complete assembly before choosing its lighting role.VEDA is compatible with DOUBLE covers. A transparent cover and an opal cover produce different visible results, so the cover choice forms part of the design rather than merely matching the metal finish. Suitable system components need to be selected; the profile alone should not be treated as a complete lighting kit.Plan the ceiling around the full sectionThe overall cross-section is 152.6 mm wide and 42.3 mm high, while this piece is 1000 mm long. Allow for the whole section when planning the ceiling, not just the line that will remain visible. VEDA is recessed between plasterboard panels and secured with mounting springs. The manufacturer's installation diagram also shows part of the profile finished with filler. The power supply is positioned outside the profile. Plan its location and cable route before closing the ceiling construction. Matching end caps with an opening, straight connectors and angled connectors are available within the system. The required parts depend on the proposed path of the lighting line.Architectural applications and styleThe manufacturer specifies residential and industrial construction, with the profile used for decorative or general lighting. A ceiling line can be planned for a living room, kitchen, office or corridor, but its actual lighting performance must be established for the completed system. The simple form integrated into the ceiling suits modern and minimalist schemes. This profile cannot be sealed and should not be planned as a standalone solution for wet zones or outdoor installations.Show more
