CORINA is a flush ceiling light 40 cm across and 21.5 cm deep, with a black oval fabric shade and a matt-brass ceiling plate. It takes one E27 lamp, sold separately. The shade is black inside too That decides the character of the light. The inside of the shade is black, not white, so the fabric does not bounce light downward the way a white lining would. Instead light passes through the material and out sideways, giving a soft, muted glow on ceiling and walls, plus a stronger downward beam through the open bottom. The effect is atmospheric rather than functional: CORINA sets a mood; it does not light a kitchen for cooking. Brass as a single accent The whole fitting is black except for the 12 cm matt-brass ceiling plate. It is the only warm point in the form, and it is also the part you see best — with a fitting mounted flush to the ceiling, the top edge is exactly what is in view. The matt finish does not mirror the bulb and does not show fingerprints during installation. 21.5 cm is a low profile At 40 cm across, the fitting drops less than 22 cm from the ceiling. That is a dimension which lets it hang in a room of standard height without crowding it, including a hallway or above stairs where a pendant would be in the way. It weighs 0.8 kg, so fixing needs nothing special. Dimming depends on the lamp The fitting is dimmable but contains no dimming gear of its own: a lamp described as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit are both needed. Lucide recommends its own G95 filament bulb (49032/05/62) for this model — 4.9 W at 2200 K, very warm and amber, matched to the hazy character of the black shade. Maximum lamp power is 40 W. Installation and protection class The fitting is protection class I — an earth conductor must reach the ceiling box. The ceiling plate measures 12 × 12 × 2.5 cm and is round; installation materials are included. IP20 places it in dry rooms. Lucide files CORINA under the Japandi style and gives a 2-year warranty.
