Berliane is a pendant lamp with seven clear glass shades suspended on separate cords at staggered heights. Each shade shows a gold-coloured holder and a facetted LED module inside. All the cords gather in one round black ceiling plate, and the body is made of aluminium. How much room it takes and how low it hangs The seven shades sit within a 39 cm circle — a spread that keeps its proportions over a table 80–90 cm wide. A single shade is 9 cm across and 11 cm tall; the ceiling plate measures 35 cm across and 3.5 cm deep, worth comparing with the space around your ceiling box. Overall height is adjustable between 65 and 204.5 cm, and the cords alone drop by no more than 190 cm. Above a table the drop is usually shortened so the lower edge of the lowest shade sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop. What light it gives and how it dims The light sources are included: seven 4 W LED modules, each rated 150 lm at 2700 K, a warm, slightly yellow light close to an old incandescent bulb. Together that is about 1050 lm — barely more than one 60 W bulb, spread across seven points, so the lamp lights the area over a table rather than a whole large room. Colour rendering is Ra 80. The glass is clear, so the module stays visible, and the manufacturer describes the distribution as all-round and non-directional. The lamp is dimmable, but no dimmer is supplied — one has to be bought separately and wired into the circuit. Power, mounting and service parts The driver is included and the lamp is switched from an ordinary wall switch. The manufacturer states electrical class I, so the ceiling connection needs an earth conductor; the IP20 rating limits it to dry interiors. The LED module is replaceable — Lucide sells it separately as 94/00430/00, and a single 9 cm glass as 92/00430/60, so a broken shade does not write off the lamp. Rated source life is 20 000 hours over 10 000 switching cycles, and the fixture carries a 3-year warranty. Which room it suits The manufacturer intends Berliane for above a dining table, for the living room and for the kitchen. The shape is modern: plain shades without ornament, thin cords and gold details against the black ceiling plate.
