AXI is a wall light with a half-round black metal body, open at the top and bottom. The surface is matt and powder-coated. A movable reflector sits inside and splits the light into two beams, one running up the wall and one down. Two light points and an adjustable beam The fitting carries two light points, one for each direction, and works with a 90° beam angle. The reflector inside the body tilts, so the strip of light on the wall can be narrowed or widened once the fitting is mounted, without taking it down. Light leaves only upwards and downwards, along the wall: AXI lights the band of wall above and below itself, not the space in front of it, so it will not light a face at the mirror. How much light it gives Each source produces 160 lm, 320 lm together. The old 60 W incandescent bulb gave around 800 lm, so AXI is a supplementary, decorative fitting — a bathroom needs its own main light alongside it. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb, and Ra 80 is the colour rendering usual in homes. The diodes are built in permanently, with a stated lifespan of 20,000 hours, and are not swapped like a bulb. The fitting is not dimmable, so it is not paired with a dimmer. Size and installation The body is 13.5 cm wide, 10 cm high and projects 11.5 cm from the wall — that projection is what to check against a doorway or the edge of a basin. The mounting plate is an 8 × 8 cm square, 0.5 cm thick, and sets how much wall the fitting covers. It runs on 230 V, and the driver and fixing materials are supplied, so nothing extra is needed to wire it in. The fitting is electrical class I and needs an earth conductor; it is switched from an ordinary wall switch, which is not included. Bathroom use and finish IP54 means a dust-tight body protected against splashing water from any direction; the manufacturer intends AXI for the bathroom. The energy label states class G and 7 kWh per 1000 hours of operation. The shape is modern and unadorned: uniform black outside and inside the body, with no visible fixing.
