S-TRACK DALI is a one-metre length of SLV's white 3-phase track, prepared for DALI control. The profile carries three independent supply circuits plus control conductors, so luminaires mounted along a single run can be split into groups that switch and dim separately. What it is for A track replaces several fixed lighting points with one powered run. Luminaires fitted with a 3-phase adapter clip in anywhere along the profile and can be slid and aimed without touching the wiring — which is why tracks are used over kitchen islands and in living rooms, and above all in shops, galleries and offices where the display changes several times a year. DALI control Unlike a plain 3-phase track, the DALI version belongs to SLV's control system built around that protocol. Compatible luminaires can be addressed and dimmed digitally instead of being switched phase by phase: the three circuits still let you separate fixtures into groups, while DALI adds smooth dimming and lighting scenes. Installation The profile is designed for surface mounting on a ceiling or a wall. SLV drills the fixing holes into the profile at the factory, so the track screws straight to the substrate without extra brackets. Feed-ins, straight, L- and T-connectors and end caps are separate S-TRACK components, chosen to match the layout you plan. The track is for indoor use only (IP20) and is protection class I, so it requires an earth connection. Other versions SLV offers the same profile in white and black and in 1, 2, 3 and 4 m lengths, so a run of any given length can be built with as few joints as possible.
