LED PRO A MINI connector 24-1100-83 is made for joining a cable to one end of an 8 mm single-colour LED strip. This is the cable-free version with two pins and a snap closure. Its transparent housing measures 18 × 10 × 5 mm.Match it to the stripThis part is for 8 mm MONO strips only; it is not a substitute for an RGB or CCT strip connector. Its pins pierce the strip PCB, so the connection does not require soldering. Before ordering, compare the strip width, the two contact pads and the direction in which the cable needs to leave the strip.Connection dataThe manufacturer specifies use at 5, 12 or 24 V DC and a maximum current of 2 A. No cable is supplied with this connector, so one must be selected separately for the planned installation. An opener helps release the latch during installation or when the connection needs adjustment.Profile installationThe compact body can be placed in a System G profile. It is made of polycarbonate and copper. The connector may be used with IP20 and IP65 strips; when it is used with an IP65 strip, the connection itself must be sealed to retain the strip’s protection rating.Show more
