PERSEO K-3523 is a large two-tier candelabra chandelier from the Polish manufacturer Kaja Lighting. Fifteen curved arms are arranged over two levels — ten in the lower ring and five in the upper — and each ends in an E14 socket seated on a round dish styled as a candle drip-pan. That single detail is what makes the whole structure read as a grand candelabrum rather than a metal frame with bulbs in it. Fifteen light points, but two switches The model's biggest practical advantage: the chandelier can be split across two circuits in a 10+5 arrangement. Wired to a two-gang switch it lets you light the lower ring of ten arms alone, the upper five alone, or all fifteen together. In practice that is three brightness levels without a dimmer — and the option of running part of the fixture day to day and the full array only for occasions. The decision has to be made at installation, though, because it needs two switched live conductors at the ceiling rose; once fitted on a single circuit, changing it means re-wiring at the ceiling. A height you shorten The suspension is a chain, shortened by removing links and drawing the excess cable up into the canopy. Full height is 167 cm, of which the fixture itself is 110 cm — the rest is chain and canopy (ø 10 cm, 6 cm high). At 94 cm wide this is a model for rooms with volume: stairwells, halls, restaurant and hotel dining rooms, tall living spaces. Over a standard table in a 2.5 m room it will be too much. Bulbs: bought separately, and capped No bulbs are included — fifteen are needed, with an E14 cap. The manufacturer gives the maximum per-bulb power as 10 W LED, which is both a power ceiling and a technology instruction: this is a fitting for LED sources, and across fifteen points the whole chandelier stays within roughly 150 W. Light colour depends entirely on the bulb you choose, so warm or neutral is your decision. Flame- or cone-shaped candle bulbs suit this form best — the maker names them explicitly, because they continue the line of the arm and complete the candelabrum reading. A globe or a large filament bulb will upset that proportion. Build The construction is entirely metal, painted black — no glass, no crystals, no shades, so cleaning comes down to dusting the arms. The lamp is made in Poland. Kaja runs its own powder-coating shop and offers colour personalisation on selected models to individual quotation — if black does not suit the room, it is worth asking about another shade before ordering. An IP20 rating restricts the chandelier to dry interiors. The light sources are replaceable. The 10+5 split needs two switched lives at the ceiling rose — agree it with the electrician before installation. This is a big chandelier: 94 cm across and 110 cm of fixture. Check the ceiling height and the space above a table or stairwell. The height is shortened by removing chain links — no electrician needed to cut the cable, but the excess has to be tucked into the canopy.
