LAHTI 70 is a wall lamp shaped as a single slim bar with a rectangular section, growing out of a small cuboid base fixed to the wall. The profile is aluminium in ochre red — a warm, muted red close to terracotta. The face you see is solid: the LED emits along the rear edge of the bar, towards the wall. How much space it takes and how it mounts The manufacturer gives 70 × 6.5 × 4 cm. Mounted vertically it occupies 70 cm of wall height, and the smallest figure — 4 cm — is the depth of the body, so it barely stands off the wall. The bar can be hung vertically, horizontally or at an angle, so it follows the proportions of the wall. The fitting weighs 0.721 kg and is Class I: the metal body has to be connected to the protective earth, so a box without an earth conductor is not enough. How much light it gives and of what kind The LED module draws up to 13 W and delivers 1690 lumens at 4000 K, a neutral white with neither a yellow nor a blue cast. An old 60 W bulb gave about 800 lm, so LAHTI 70 is roughly twice as bright and can light a corner on its own. The light leaves along the rear edge and spreads across the wall, which is why the manufacturer calls it diffused — nothing is aimed at the eyes of someone standing opposite. The LED module is built in permanently: the light source is included but cannot be replaced. The rooms it suits The manufacturer intends the LAHTI wall lamp for the living room, bedroom and office, and recommends the 4000 K version for an office and a kitchen, where neutral white makes work at the counter easier. In this range the fitting is also assigned to the dining room and the hallway. The manufacturer calls the style modern: no ornament, one colour, no shade.
