BAZAR BIZAR The Linen Dash Linen Kitchen Towel, Natural Black, 50x70 cm

Name: BAZAR BIZAR The Linen Dash Linen Kitchen Towel, Natural Black, 50x70 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The Linen Dash is a linen kitchen towel measuring 50 × 70 cm, woven as two wide dark fields with a pale natural band across the middle. The transition between the fields is a herringbone of black yarn on a natural warp, and one corner carries a hanging loop sewn from the same cloth.Size and hanging loopAt 50 × 70 cm it covers hand-drying and dish-drying at once: spread out it lies over several plates left to drain, folded once it fits a textile drawer. The corner loop lets it hang from an oven handle or a hook by the sink instead of being thrown over the edge of the worktop, so it dries spread out rather than bunched up wet. What linen does differentlyThe cloth is linen throughout. Linen takes up moisture quickly and gives it back just as quickly, and it leaves no lint behind on glass or cutlery, so this towel suits glasses and knives and not only hands. New fibre is noticeably stiffer and softens with every wash.Colour and variation between piecesThe dark fields are not a flat black: the black weft crosses a natural warp, so up close the cloth reads as a grey-black melange and from a distance as graphite. The manufacturer notes that tone and weave vary naturally between pieces, so two towels from the same run need not look identical. The towel is made in India and the pack holds one piece.Show more
