The Italux Brasco Up Down pendant lamp is a lit aluminium ring finished in white, suspended on three thin cables. A white silicone diffuser strip runs along the ring, through which the integrated LED shines both upward and downward. The fixture has two light points and mounts via a cylindrical ceiling canopy. How big the lamp is and how to hang it The ring measures 98 cm across, with a 3.5 cm profile height. The suspension cables allow a maximum drop of 200 cm, so the height can be adjusted to the room and the mounting spot — over a dining table or in a hotel lobby, for instance. How much light it gives The light source is an integrated LED module rated at 100 W in total, with a luminous flux of 6800 lm — a level suited to serve as the main lighting for a large room, not just a decorative accent. The colour temperature switches between 3000 K (warm white) and 4000 K (neutral white). The lamp is dimmable, but needs a triac dimmer wired into the electrical installation — the dimmer itself is not included. The light source cannot be replaced, since it is built into the fixture. Which interiors it suits The simple circular form without extra ornamentation follows a modern, modernist style. The manufacturer intends it for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, as well as hotels and restaurants — anywhere a strong, focused light source with a ceiling- and floor-washing effect is needed.
