AMBRE WOOD 2018 is a single-light pendant with a spherical shade of clear, honey-tinted glass. The shade hangs on a black cable below a round canopy in which black metal meets natural wood. It is the one-light version of the Ambre series. How big it is and where to hang it The sphere is 15 cm across and the whole pendant measures 120 cm from ceiling to the bottom edge of the shade. Over a table those 120 cm are usually shortened so the lower rim sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop; with a room height under 250 cm, check that figure before mounting. A 15 cm shade puts down a point of light rather than a spread, so over a longer worktop two or three side by side work better than one. Which bulb you need The socket is E27 and the manufacturer allows bulbs up to 60 W. No bulb is included, so colour temperature and brightness are yours to choose. The glass is clear and honey-tinted — the bulb stays visible through the shade and its shape is part of how the pendant looks. The tint warms the light that passes through it.
