TRYSIL 1001 is a 263 cm lamp post built from a square aluminium profile in graphite. Near the top the column breaks at an angle and continues into a head cantilevered forward, where an LED panel faces straight down. The whole form is angular, with no decorative detail — this is an architectural luminaire, not a styled park lantern. 2476 lumens measured at the luminaire output Two figures the manufacturer publishes are worth separating. The LED module itself generates 4168 lm, but 2476 lm leaves the luminaire — the rest stays in the optics and shielding. It is the second number that actually lights a driveway, and the one to use when planning the spacing between posts. Connection The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², with the option of looping the next luminaire on up to 3 × 2.5 mm² — so a run of posts can be fed from one circuit, carrying the cable from post to post. Round-jacketed cable up to 12.5 mm diameter is accepted. Inrush current is 4 A for 50 µs, which matters when sizing protection for a dozen or more fittings on one circuit.
