Famlight CHLOE ceiling pendant lamp set of 3 patina
CHLOE set of 3 is a pendant lamp with three hand-blown glass shades hanging from a single round ceiling plate. The shades are elongated ovals with a diagonal ribbed optic relief, and each one has a different colour — grey, clear and brown. The metal parts are finished in old brass and the cables are black. Size and how it hangs All three shades come off one ceiling plate 33 cm across, so a single outlet in the ceiling is enough to install it. The drops are of different lengths and the shades step down one below the other; in plan the fitting occupies a circle of roughly 38 cm. Maximum overall height is 130 cm, measured from the ceiling to the bottom edge of the lowest shade. A single shade is 39 cm tall and 18 cm in diameter. Above a worktop the cables are shortened so that the lowest shade sits above the eye line of anyone seated. Light sources and supply The fitting has three light points with E27 sockets and takes bulbs of up to 60 W each. Bulbs are not included and are chosen separately. It runs on 230 V mains voltage. The glass is see-through and the bulb stays visible through the shade, so the look of the lit lamp depends on the source you fit; decorative filament bulbs bring out the pattern in the glass. The colour of the light shifts in each of the three shades — clear glass leaves it unchanged, grey cools it, brown warms it. Hand-blown, hand-painted glass The shades are blown by hand and painted by hand, so the relief and the depth of colour differ slightly from piece to piece. The manufacturer makes them in Poland. The ceiling plate, lampholders and suspensions carry the tone of old brass, a matt, muted gold that contrasts with the pale glass. The black cables stay visible along the full length of the drop. The Chloe series Chloe is a series of narrow, elongated shades in structured glass, covering both pendant and table lamps. The set of 3 version brings three glass colours together in one fitting; the series also has single pendants with one E27 socket, a 10 cm ceiling plate and a drop of up to 120 cm, in copper, brass and stainless steel.Show more
