V-TAC VT-817-RD-SN is a pack of two round recessed spotlight frames finished in satin nickel. Each steel frame has a tilting inner ring, allowing the installed GU10 lamp to be aimed towards a selected part of the room. Because the retail pack contains two matching fittings, it can form a visually consistent pair of ceiling light points.Frame size and ceiling cut-outEach fitting measures 93 mm across the outside and has an overall profile height of 27 mm. The manufacturer specifies a 70 mm round mounting cut-out. Before cutting the ceiling, compare both measurements with the available space and allow for the visible outer rim that sits around the opening.Spring clips shown in the technical drawing retain the frame in the cut-out. The movable inner ring changes the axis of the installed GU10 lamp, allowing the two fittings in the pack to be aimed independently towards different areas of the room.Choose two GU10 lamps separatelyEach frame accepts a 51 mm light source with a GU10 cap and a maximum rating of 35W. Lamps are not included, so two GU10 sources are required for the complete pack. The selected lamps determine luminous output, colour temperature, beam angle and whether dimming is possible. For brightness control, both the lamps and the external dimmer must be specified as mutually compatible.The fittings are intended for 230V operation; the retail carton states AC 220–240V at 50 Hz. Electrical connection should be completed with the supply isolated, following the installation instructions and by a suitably qualified person.Steel with a satin nickel finishThe frames are made from steel with a satin nickel body colour. Their muted metallic finish is visible in the front views and on the exact retail carton. For cleaning, the instructions specify a soft, slightly damp cloth with the power isolated and reconnection only after complete drying. The whole sold pack weighs 0.105 kg.Show more
