End cap 12-1671-00 is a white ABS part that closes the end of a LUMINES BRUNO LED profile. An elongated opening is cut into the face for the supply cable, and the ribs on the back push into the channels of the profile. Which profile it fits The part is matched to the LUMINES BRUNO — a wall-side ceiling profile made to be plastered in, used for accent lighting and for a shadow-gap effect. The manufacturer sized the wall-side edge to the thickness of a plasterboard sheet, which makes filling and painting easier. The profile is supplied in 1 m, 2.02 m and 3 m lengths, in white lacquered, black lacquered, silver anodised and raw finishes. The white cap follows the white lacquered profile and a ceiling painted white. The cable hole and fitting The cap is pushed into place, with no screws and no adhesive. It is side-neutral — the same part suits the left and the right end of a run, so a single line of light needs two of them. The elongated hole takes the LED strip's lead out of the profile. On BRUNO the driver sits outside the profile, so the cable has to leave the recess in any case — in this family the manufacturer offers end caps with a hole only, in plastic as well as in aluminium. The same plastic cap comes in white, black, silver and grey, and the aluminium version in white, black and silver. The BRUNO profile together with the BASIC cover forms a closed recess; the end caps are its last element, fitted after the LED strip and the cover have been slid in.Show more
