The Freeline F44 M16 02 is a three-metre bar in black anodised aluminium, 2.3 cm in diameter, with the LED strip and diffuser housed inside the profile. It belongs to the modular Freeline system, in which bars are joined by clamps and the cables run inside them.How much light the bar givesThe LED strip draws 24 W at 24 V DC and delivers 2480 lm. That output is roughly equal to three old 60 W bulbs, but it is spread over a full three metres, so the bar reads as a line of light rather than a point.3000 K is warm white — noticeably warmer than daylight, without the yellow cast of 2700 K. Ra 90+ means fabric and timber colours are not distorted under it. The LED is built into the profile, so at the end of its life the whole bar is replaced, not the light source.What is in the box and what you need to addFabbian packs the LED strip, the diffuser, the electrical cable and two closure caps with the bar. No driver and no fixing are included. The bar runs on 24 V DC, so it needs a canopy with a driver: F44 M01 02 with a dimmable 60 W driver, or F44 M03 02 with 100 W.The way it hangs is chosen separately — Fabbian offers the ceiling fastening kit F44 Z02 02, the steel-cable pendant kits F44 Z07 02, F44 Z09 02 and F44 Z11 02, and the fastening joints F44 Z01 02 that link one bar to the next.Dimensions and where it goesThe bar is 300 cm long and 2.3 cm in diameter, and weighs 1.5 kg. The carton is 3.10 m — a length worth checking against the route into the room before delivery. The system also offers 1 m and 2 m sections, and the light points can be moved along the structure after installation.Show more
