Luces Exclusivas EJIDO Pendant Light White LED 7 W 3000 K LE41619
EJIDO is a pendant light shaped as an elongated cone that narrows downwards to a sharp tip. The whole body is white and just 3 cm across at its widest point, and the fitting hangs from a thin cable ending in a small round ceiling rose. How big it is and where to hang it The suspension runs up to 160 cm, so the light can be brought down low over a worktop even under a three-metre ceiling, and the cable is simply shortened under a lower one. The manufacturer intends EJIDO for above a kitchen island. At 3 cm in diameter a single fitting blocks no sight line across the worktop and does not cut the kitchen in half. For the same reason EJIDO is usually hung in a row — several pieces spaced a few tens of centimetres apart cover the full length of an island. How much light EJIDO gives The light source is included: an integrated LED module of 7 W producing 213 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The module is built in permanently, so there is no bulb to choose for this fitting. 213 lm is about as bright as a small decorative bulb. EJIDO therefore does accent lighting — the slim white column lights the worktop directly beneath it, and a row of them combined with general lighting gives a kitchen its complete lighting scheme. Where it fits The form is modernist and contemporary at once: one straight line, no ornament, a single flat white. Against a light wall and ceiling the fitting all but disappears; over dark cabinet fronts or a stone worktop it reads clearly. Build The manufacturer lists aluminium and fabric: the cone is metal and the suspension cable runs inside a fabric braid.
