Rendl Dario R13869 is a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight made of a round base and a cylindrical shade in brushed brass. The cylinder sits in a joint in the base, so it can be tilted and turned. Which bulb it takes The fitting takes one GU10 bulb of up to 9 W and runs directly on 230 V — no driver or transformer is needed, so it connects to an ordinary ceiling installation. No bulb is included; Rendl recommends its own lamp, code G11841, for this model. The manufacturer states that the fitting can be dimmed with a suitable light source. In practice that means a GU10 bulb marked as dimmable plus a dimmer in the circuit — the fitting itself contains no control gear. Build and swapping the shade Base and cylinder are metal, finished in brushed brass with a matt, warm sheen. The cylinder is a separate decorative part: Rendl also sells shades for this fitting in other colours, so base and shade can be combined differently from the factory pairing. Dario is a modern shape with no ornament — two smooth cylinders and the visible joint between them.
