Chiral HPLC Column, CHIRALPAK IG 50 x 4.6 mm 5 μm SFC
Chiral column in which the stationary phase is immobilized on the packing material. This Chiralpak column has an inner diameter of 4.6 mm, a length of 50 mm and a particle size of 5.0 µm. The main difference between immobilized CHIRALPAK columns and conventional polysaccharide columns is their robustness and stability towards the composition of the mobile phase. The immobilization of the polysaccharide derivatives around a matrix provides universal solvent compatibility: virtually any miscible organic solvent can be used in combination with Daicel's immobilized phases, enabling new selectivity profiles and improved productivity. The chiral stationary phase (CSP) can also no longer be altered or destroyed by the use of a 'forbidden' solvent - the new columns contain no forbidden organic solvents. This complete freedom in the choice of solvent enables the development of new separations. CHIRALPAK® immobilized polysaccharide phases are stable up to a pressure of 400 bar.Show more
