The KASZMIR 1274 is a three-arm chandelier 66 cm across, built on a steel frame in ecru finished with a wiped gold patina. Three cylindrical fabric shades in the same shade sit at the ends of the curved arms, carrying a woven foliage pattern that shows against the light. An open, spindle-shaped body spans between the arms, made from the same profiles. How big it is and where to hang it The fixture covers a 66 cm circle on the ceiling and drops 64 cm below it. The drop is fixed — the chandelier hangs on a rigid rod ending in a round canopy, so the height cannot be shortened or extended after fitting. Subtract those 64 cm from your ceiling height to see what stays clear beneath it. Over a dining table the bottom edge of a shade normally wants to sit 70–80 cm above the tabletop. With a fixed 64 cm drop and an ordinary room height the shades stay well above that, so the KASZMIR lights the whole dining area rather than the tabletop itself — it belongs in the middle of a room, not tight over a table. The whole fixture weighs 2.86 kg. What bulbs it needs For the three E27 sockets the manufacturer allows a maximum of 15 W each — that is a ceiling for the bulb, not the power the fixture draws. A 15 W limit rules out incandescent and halogen bulbs, whose weakest common versions start at 25 W, so LED lamps are what actually goes in here. Bulbs are not included. The sources are replaceable, so you choose the colour and the brightness yourself. The equivalent of the old 60 W bulb, around 800 lm per point, stays far below the limit — an LED of that output typically draws 8–10 W. For a dining room or living room 2700–3000 K is the usual choice, a warm, slightly yellow light. The fabric shades soften it further, and the open-bottomed cylinders send most of the output downwards. Finish and rooms The frame is steel, the shades fabric and the covers PVC. The manufacturer writes the colour as "ECRIE" — its spelling of écru: an off-white broken on the profiles by a gold patina applied so that the lighter ground shows through. The same shade returns in the fabric of the shades. The manufacturer calls the form classic: curved arms, decorative cups beneath the shades and an open, spindle-shaped body.
