TRA034PC-42B is a straight power connector for the Maytoni Exility magnetic track system, 23 mm wide. It is an installation part and not a luminaire: it gives no light and holds no light source. Its job is to join two track sections in a straight line and carry the supply across that joint. How it is built and where it sits The connector is a black plastic bar 138 mm long, 16 mm wide and 18 mm high. Gold-plated contacts sit at both ends, one pair for each section being joined, and between them are latches that hold the bar inside the channel of the track. The part slides into the profile, so once assembled it shows from below only as a narrow line at the joint. It weighs 0.03 kg, the same with packaging, so it adds nothing to the load on the track suspension. What it fits The connector is intended for the Exility 23 mm system and for that alone — profiles of other magnetic systems have a different section and a different contact layout. It joins sections set in one straight run; for a change of direction and for connections that are not straight, Maytoni offers a radius connector and a flexible connector in the same series, and feeding power into the track is a separate part. Voltage, protection and warranty The Exility track runs on 48 V alternating current, and that is what this connector carries. Protection class III means operation on safety extra-low voltage, so no earth conductor is taken to the connector itself. IP20 covers dry interiors only. The connector has no dimming electronics of its own — dimming is decided by the luminaires in the track and by the system driver. Maytoni covers the part with a five-year warranty.Show more
