A white two-core braided cable with a 2 × 0.75 mm² conductor cross-section, from the Lumines / LED Labs catalogue (code 14-2028-42). The braid is coated, so it does not fray where the cable is cut – a practical difference from plain textile braid, which has to be secured after cutting. What it is for The cores are marked L and N, live and neutral – this is a mains cable, not low-voltage wiring for LED strips. The usual use is visible cabling for pendant lamps, decorative fittings and self-built luminaires, where the cable is meant to be part of the look rather than hidden in the ceiling. With no earth core, it suits Class II fittings; anything requiring an earth needs a three-core cable. How it is sold The product is sold by the metre – the quantity you order is a length cut from the reel, not a number of pieces.
