Bazar Bizar Aqua Blue Stoneware Stew Pot with Lid 25 cm

Name: Bazar Bizar Aqua Blue Stoneware Stew Pot with Lid 25 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The Aqua Stew Pot by Bazar Bizar is a stoneware vessel with a lid for serving simmered dishes. Its low, broad body has two side handles and a rounded lid knob. Blue glaze shifts towards teal, with an uneven surface pattern rather than a uniform solid colour.Allowing room for the pot and lidThe manufacturer's external dimensions are 25 cm long, 25 cm wide and 8.5 cm high. Compare these measurements with the space on your table and in your cupboard. They describe the outside of the vessel, not its capacity or the number of portions it holds. The photograph with the lid lifted shows a broad interior and shallow walls, rather than the deep body of a tall soup pot.The lid comes with the vessel and can be removed when serving. The side handles form part of the body, without long metal handles projecting from it. When arranging the table, leave somewhere for the removed lid as well as space for the pot itself.Portuguese stoneware in the Aqua collectionThis piece is made in Portugal and belongs to the Aqua collection. Code POCE088Bl identifies this particular blue pot with its lid within the tableware collection. Handmade production means that shade, texture and small details may vary between individual pieces. If you are adding matching tableware from the collection, expect related colours rather than an identical glaze pattern on every item.Washing and temperature changesWash and dry the vessel thoroughly before its first use. The manufacturer recommends gentle hand washing. Allow heating and cooling to happen gradually to avoid thermal shock, and always rest a hot pot on a heat-resistant mat or trivet. This also matters when serving at the dining table, where the trivet separates the heated stoneware from the tabletop.Show more
