The Flo 2 Mokka S is a pendant with two light points set on a horizontal bar spanning 46 cm. The metal sleeves carry the Mokka finish — a dark, muted brown — and beneath them sit two shades of white opal glass in a bud shape: narrowed at the top, flared and rounded at the bottom. How much room it needs and how high to hang it The bar is 46 cm wide, each shade is 19 cm across, and the fitting projects 19 cm. Set that 46 cm span against the length of the surface the lamp will hang over — two separated points cover a longer stretch of table than a single shade of the same size. Maximum drop is 250 cm and is shortened during installation; over a table the lower edge of the shades usually sits 70–80 cm above the top, so the light covers the whole surface without shining into the eyes of anyone seated. The fixed element itself is 28 cm — that part cannot be shortened. The lamp weighs 2.9 kg. Which bulbs it takes The fitting has two E14 sockets and the manufacturer states a maximum of 10 W LED per socket. That is the limit for one bulb, not for the whole lamp: the pair together stays under 20 W. A 10 W ceiling means LED lamps are intended — a filament bulb of that rating barely exists — and you choose the colour and brightness yourself. Glass and construction The shades are opal glass, that is milky and opaque: it scatters light across the whole surface, so a lit bulb never shows as a point and the shade glows evenly. The manufacturer states that every shade in the FLO collection is hand-blown at a Polish glassworks, which makes small differences between individual pieces a natural feature of the technique. The structure is metal and glass, and the collection was designed by Wojciech Błaszczyk of Sedno Studio. The Flo 2 in this size also comes as Cream, Grey, Moss and Sky, so the colour can be matched to the room without changing the shape of the fitting.Show more
