Zambelis 2562 is a ceiling light shaped as a single 59 cm ring, hung on three slim rods beneath a rectangular ceiling base. The ring profile measures 1.5 × 1.5 cm in section, and it is the inner edge — filled with white opal acrylic — that lights up. The finish is sandy black. Size and mounting A 59 cm ring draws a circle on the ceiling wider than the top of a typical coffee table — compare that measurement with the clear ceiling area where you plan to fit it. From the ceiling to the lower edge the fitting measures 17.2 cm, so it hangs far less deep than a light on a suspension cable. The ceiling base is 20 cm long, 6 cm wide and 4 cm high and fixes to the ceiling surface — the manufacturer specifies no cutting hole and no recess depth. The fitting is safety class I, so the connection needs an earth conductor. Light and dimming The fitting puts out 2370 lm, roughly three old 60 W bulbs. 3000 K is warm white — the light carries a slightly yellow tone, warmer than neutral white. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means fabrics, wood and pictures show colours close to how they look in daylight. The lit surface is the inner edge of the ring, so light spreads towards the centre of the circle and downwards. The LED module is built in permanently — no bulb to buy and none to change — and the manufacturer states a lifetime of L70B50 30,000 h. Dimming works over TRIAC, that is a phase-cut dimmer fitted in place of an ordinary switch; a dimmer is not supplied. Build and the rooms it suits The ring and base are metal and aluminium, the diffuser acrylic. Matte sandy black and the narrow profile mean that switched off the fitting reads as a thin dark hoop rather than a solid body — a minimal form with no ornament.
