VT-1210 is a flat, round induction charger in a matt black finish. The phone goes down centre-back on the pad — there is no socket to aim for and no plug to wear out. The supply cable leaves the edge of the pad and is included. Two output modes, not one The manufacturer gives two operating profiles: 5 V / 1.0 A and 9 V / 1.2 A, for a maximum of 10 W. The distinction matters in practice. The 5 V mode is standard inductive charging, which essentially any phone with a receiving coil will accept. The 9 V mode engages only when both phone and power supply handle the higher voltage — and that is what delivers the faster top-up. If those 10 W are the point, the mains adapter feeding the pad has to be able to supply 9 V; on an ordinary 5 V charger the pad will work correctly, just slower. What to expect from inductive charging Coil transfer is always less efficient than a cable — some of the energy turns into heat on both sides, which is why a phone on a pad runs warmer than one on a lead. That is normal. Two other things are worth remembering: a thick case, and especially magnetic inserts or the metal plates used with car mounts, can block the transfer entirely, and the phone has to sit centred over the coil — 2–3 cm off and charging simply will not start.
