V-TAC SMART 48V 200W track system power supply This 200 W power supply from V-TAC is a component of the modern, versatile SMART 48V track lighting system. It provides the whole installation with a 48 V DC feed for rails on which magnetic spotlights, pendants and other luminaires are mounted. One coherent setup can therefore power many light points spread across a room, simplifying both the design and installation of the lighting. What it is for The power supply is designed to work with the V-TAC SMART 48V magnetic track. The system includes spotlights, pendants, rails of various lengths, mounts, cables, connectors and additional power supplies — all joining into one flexible lighting rail. First connect the power supply to the rail, then place luminaires on it; these draw power directly from the 48 V circuit. Application The solution suits shops, boutiques, galleries, showrooms, restaurants, offices and modern homes where adjustable point lighting of displays or zones is needed. Being able to slide and attach luminaires freely makes it easy to change the light layout without touching the electrical installation. When planning, account for the total wattage of the installed luminaires so that it stays within the power supply's capacity. Installation Place the power supply near the track, connect it to the 220–240 V circuit and feed the rail of the SMART 48V system.
