DARLING 1187 is a flush ceiling light from the Polish brand Argon (Starcz) – a round fitting 45 cm across and only 8 cm deep, sitting tight to the ceiling. The finish is a textured dark grey: a matt coating with a perceptible grain rather than smooth paint. Three E27 points under one disc Inside are three E27 lampholders, each rated at a maximum of 15 W. That is the limit per lamp, not the total – but 15 W on an E27 means in practice LED sources only: a classic bulb at that wattage barely exists, and a shallow, closed housing does not shed heat the way an open chandelier does. Splitting the light across three points under one glass disc gives an even glow with no single bright centre. No bulbs supplied The fitting ships without light sources – three E27 lamps must be bought separately. That has one advantage: you choose the colour temperature. A living room or bedroom usually wants 2700–3000 K; a kitchen or dining room often does better at 4000 K. Because the energy class depends on the lamp, the manufacturer records "not applicable" for the fitting. Materials Painted steel structure, glass diffuser. Glass behaves differently from plastic: it does not yellow after years of running warm and holds the clean white of diffused light better. Weight 3.2 kg net – check the ceiling fixing will carry it.
