The result is a creaking tailgate, as deformations and vibrations during driving can no longer be dampened. The rubber insert is not available separately from Porsche; only the complete lock assembly is available. You can also obtain these original parts from us under article numbers: #16559 and #16560 Installation: After cleaning and lubricating the locking pawls in the lock, the funnel-shaped insert is pressed into the trunk/tailgate locks from above. As shown in red in our example photo, the four ring-shaped protrusions must protrude from the lock again. This will eliminate the unpleasant noises from the rear window and completely refurbish your trunk locks.
