As part of a Homematic IP security solution, the motion detector can not only switch on the lights but also trigger an alarm. ALL-IN-ONE: MOTION DETECTOR AND SWITCH The integrated push-button offers manual control of devices or system functions independent of motion detection. EXTRA-LONG BATTERY LIFE With two micro-batteries, a battery life of typically 4 years is achieved, offering low-maintenance work for the device. When using the motion detector in a Homematic IP security solution, a Homematic IP Power Supply Unit for brand switches (HmIP-BPS) is required for power supply.
