This mobile alternating current meter measures the active energy based on the current flowing between the input and the output. The own consumption of only a maximum of 0.4 watts of active power is not measured and not displayed. Every 30 seconds, the display switches from the accumulated active energy in kWh to the instantaneous consumption in watts for 5 seconds. The starting current is 20mA. The display can only be read with a power supply. However, the consumption is non-volatile and is immediately displayed again after a power failure. The digital display has 7 digits.
