Pod-Style NiMH Battery Pack allows for storage up to 6 months without recharging. NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries have a low self-discharge rate, so that after 30 days of inactivity this NiMH battery pack still has 75% of its specified rated capacity. Furthermore, it can be used as an alternative for NiCd (nickel cadmium) batteries of the same voltage class with a pod-style interface. It is compatible with all Bosch 14.4 V cordless power tools with a pod-style battery interface.
