BAROQUE is a small wall lamp with a wide reflector shade 16 cm across, carried on a short arm with a chrome knuckle. The whole thing stands 17.5 cm tall and weighs just 300 g. The shade is black outside and white inside — the interior throws light forward instead of absorbing it.Switch on the fittingThe round wall plate carries a rocker switch. That practical detail decides where this lamp makes sense: it can go beside a bed, next to an armchair or in a hotel room and be switched by hand, with no separate circuit run to a wall switch.Aiming the lightThe chrome knuckle tilts the shade through 180° — from pointing down as a reading light to throwing the beam at the wall or ceiling for reflected light. One fitting therefore covers two different uses.Light sourceThe socket is E27 and the maximum source power is 11 W, a figure given for LED bulbs. No bulb is included. Since the shade is open at the bottom and the bulb shows at an angle, a frosted envelope is the better choice.
