OTIS is a flat round flush ceiling light 39 cm across and 6.5 cm deep — shallow enough that the fitting sits almost against the ceiling. The whole body is synthetic with a matt finish and a rubberised coating, in opal white. It lights evenly across its entire underside, with no diode hotspots showing through.How much light this actually isThe number that matters is 3380 lm from 32 W — about 106 lm/W. That is considerably more than the modest diameter suggests: OTIS comfortably serves as the only light in a room of 15–18 m². The 3000 K colour is warm, and the beam reaches 170°, so the light spreads almost flat under the ceiling and leaves no dark corners. Colour rendering is CRI 80 — standard for general lighting, fine for a living room, bedroom or hallway, but not for judging paint or fabric shades.What it does not doThe fitting is not dimmable and has no colour adjustment — it is operated by an ordinary wall switch. There is no cable and no plug: it is meant for permanent connection to the mains. The diodes are built in, so at the end of their life (a declared 15,000 hours) the whole fitting is replaced, not a bulb.InstallationIt fixes to the ceiling through a 39 × 39 × 3 cm mounting plate; installation materials are included. One installation detail matters: OTIS is electrical class I, so it requires a protective earth conductor. In older wiring without an earth at the ceiling box, check this before buying.
