No tray = double the speed The fact that the HDD does not need to be screwed to a tray makes the HDD installation much faster. A 5.25" bay is needed on the PC. SATA HDDs are supported SATA I/II/III. No fan = whisper silent This mobile rack is made almost completely from aluminium, only the front and back panels are made of hard plastic. Aluminium is very stable, very light and on top of everything else, it dissipate heat perfectly. That is why no fan is needed in order to protect the HDDs.
