FREYA 90 is a wall light in the form of a closed steel tube, 8 x 6 cm in section and 90 cm tall, painted matt olive green. The top is capped and the light leaves through a narrow slot in the bottom edge, running down the wall. How it lights and how much wall it takes The fitting stands 8 cm off the wall, is 6 cm wide and 90 cm tall: a vertical strip rather than a shade, so it does not get in the way in a passage or beside a bed. The maker describes the effect as diffuse light: the beam leaves through one aperture at the bottom and lights the stretch of wall below the fitting rather than the whole room. That matters at the point of purchase: buying one unit leaves the option of adding more modules in the same finish later.
