Braelyn is a three-light wall fitting 60.3 cm wide, 25.7 cm tall, projecting 18.3 cm from the wall. Three jar-shaped glass shades sit on a plain chromed bar — the drawing is frankly industrial, without ornament, and the glass carries all the decoration. Seeded glass The shades are seeded glass — clear, but deliberately seeded with fine air bubbles. That is not a manufacturing flaw but a technique from old utility glass: the bubbles scatter light in points, drawing a lively pattern of reflections on the wall rather than a flat pool. With the lamp lit their structure is clearly visible; switched off, the shades read as clean and transparent. IP44 — zones 2 and 3 in a bathroom Ingress protection IP44 allows installation in a bathroom outside the direct reach of water, that is in zones 2 and 3 — above a mirror, by a basin, at least 60 cm from a water source. The manufacturer notes an important construction detail alongside this: the steel carries a galvanised undercoat beneath the chrome, which in a damp room decides whether rust appears at the seams after a few years.
