VUORO is a white spotlight for a single-phase track from Maytoni's technical line. An aluminium cylinder 8.9 cm across and 13.8 cm long sits on a joint that lets the light be aimed anywhere within the track's reach. The whole fitting stands 16.5 cm tall and weighs just 280 grams.It fits the UNITY system — and only that oneThis is the first thing to check before buying. The adapter is made for the Maytoni UNITY single-phase track. Single-phase profiles from different manufacturers differ in contact and latch geometry, so a fitting from a foreign system simply will not seat in the track or will not make proper contact. If a track is already installed in the ceiling, confirm that it really is UNITY. Being single-phase also means every fitting on one track switches together — independent control of groups needs a three-phase track.1600 lm in a 24° beamFrom 15 W the fitting produces 1600 lm, about 107 lm/W. The angle is what matters though: 24° is a narrow accent beam. From a height of 3 m it draws a circle only 1.3 m across on the floor — and that is exactly why you buy it. Such a beam picks out a single picture, a shelf of stock, a window display or a section of counter, leaving the surroundings darker. This fitting is not meant to light a room evenly — that calls for wider distributions or more fittings.CRI 90 — the reason it ends up in shopsA colour rendering index of CRI 90 is markedly higher than the usual CRI 80, and it is what decides the retail application. With light aimed straight at merchandise the difference is visible to the naked eye: fabrics keep their saturation, wood does not go grey, and reds and skin tones look natural. The 4000 K colour is neutral — cooler than domestic 3000 K, legible and matter-of-fact, typical of displays, offices and showrooms. Maytoni offers the same model in 3000 K too, and at 6, 10 and 26 W.Not dimmableThe manufacturer states plainly that the fitting is not dimmable. Brightness control therefore has to be planned differently — by splitting the installation across several circuits, for instance, or by matching the number of fittings to the light level required. The luminaire is protection class II, double insulated and requiring no earth conductor; it draws its supply from the track. The IP20 rating confines it to dry interiors.Build and warrantyThe body is entirely aluminium — a material that carries heat away from the diode, which on an integrated-LED fitting translates directly into its lifespan. The finish is white and matt. The light source is permanently built in and included, so no bulb has to be bought; when the diode reaches the end of its life the whole fitting is replaced.
