Vetivene Wall Sconce - 1 Light Source - Black Elstead

Name: Vetivene Wall Sconce - 1 Light Source - Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Vetivene is a bathroom wall light by Kichler: a rectangular black backplate with a raised, profiled panel, a curved arm and a cylindrical shade of shiny opal glass. The manufacturer describes the black as textured, and the shade can face up or down. It is distributed by Elstead Lighting. Dimensions and mounting The light is 30.5 cm high, 12.7 cm wide and projects 15.9 cm from the wall; it weighs 1.17 kg. The narrow, tall plate fits easily beside a mirror or on a slim section of wall. Fitted shade-up, the light point sits higher and brightens the wall above; shade-down, more light falls on the basin or shelf below. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earth conductor. IP44: for bathrooms IP44 protects the fitting against water splashed from any direction — the manufacturer intends Vetivene for bathrooms. Beyond the bathroom, it can also hang in a hallway or dining room — IP44 is not needed there, but it does no harm. Lamp included The fitting has a G9 lampholder, and a 6 W G9 LED lamp giving 700 lm — almost as much as an old 60 W bulb — comes in the box. It shines warm white at 3000 K. It can later be swapped for any other G9 lamp. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps, so dimming needs a dimmer switch and a G9 lamp marked as dimmable. Style The profiled panel, the arc of the arm and the smooth milky cylinder give a calm, classic fitting; the black finish sets off the white of the glass.Mostrar mais
