Jupiter TAIDA 1929 floor lamp, black, 4 opal glass globes, 4x G9

Name: Jupiter TAIDA 1929 floor lamp, black, 4 opal glass globes, 4x G9
Brand: JUPITER

TAIDA 1929 is a Jupiter floor lamp with four white opal glass globes mounted on a slim black rod. The globes alternate from one side of the rod to the other along its upper section, and the whole lamp stands on a flat steel base. The lamp is 151 cm tall. How much space it takes and how it switches onThe base covers 30 × 40 cm of floor — compare that with the free spot beside the sofa, armchair or bed where the lamp is to stand. The fitting itself weighs 3.8 kg.The cable leaves the rod just above the base, and the switch sits on the cable near the floor. You can switch the lamp on without reaching for the globes, and the cable can run along the wall to the nearest socket.Which bulbs and what kind of lightEach globe has its own G9 lampholder, four in total. Bulbs are not included, so you need to buy four G9 capsules. The manufacturer allows a maximum of 14 W per holder — less than typical halogen G9 capsules draw, so this lamp takes LED capsules.Colour and brightness depend on the capsules you choose. For a living room or bedroom, 2700–3000 K is the usual choice: warm, slightly yellowish light. The opal glass spreads it evenly in every direction, so the capsule itself stays hidden and each globe glows with a soft, even light. A lamp like this lights its surroundings rather than a single spot and works as a complement to the main ceiling light. What kind of interior it suitsJupiter describes the TAIDA style as modern: a straight rod with no ornament, four identical globes and a flat base. The fitting uses only two colours — black steel and white glass — so it does not compete with other metals or wood in the room. The lamp is meant for indoor use, and its place is the living room and bedroom: in the corner of a room, next to the sofa or beside the bed, wherever supplementary light is needed. Jupiter also offers other fittings under the TAIDA name, which makes it easy to pair it with a lamp from the same family.Mostrar mais
