Sigma Diament L 31368 – black pendant with a copper-coloured interior Diament L 31368 is defined by a broad shade covered in crisp, faceted planes. The black exterior makes the geometric relief easy to read, while the copper-coloured inner surface is exposed along the open underside and provides a strong decorative contrast. At 50 cm in diameter, the dome has enough presence to serve as a single focal point above a dining table, kitchen island or the central seating area of a living room. A slim black cable and round black ceiling canopy continue the dark finish without competing with the sculptural shade. Scale, materials and suspension The shade is made from mineral composite, supported by lacquered-steel components. Its 30.5 cm height gives the 50 cm dome a wide, grounded proportion rather than a tall silhouette. The overall drop is adjustable during installation, with a maximum height of 100 cm, allowing the lower edge to be positioned for the ceiling height and the surface below. The ceiling canopy is 10 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high. Installation uses a bracket fixed to the ceiling; side screws then secure the canopy to that bracket, as shown in the manufacturer’s mounting diagram. Choose the light for the setting A single standard E27 socket leaves the choice of lamp to the user. No bulb is supplied, so colour temperature, output and dimming capability can be selected for the room. The manufacturer specifies a maximum of 60 W for a conventional source or 15 W for LED. The open bottom directs light mainly onto the area beneath the pendant and keeps the copper-coloured interior visible. If the fitting is suspended near eye level above a table, a frosted bulb may be preferable to reduce direct glare.
