Asker Head 4382BL is a post-top luminaire that sits on the head of a lighting pole. The body is an extruded aluminium profile powder coated black (RAL 9005), 47 × 11 × 7 cm, and the light leaves downwards through a hermetic lens of transparent polycarbonate. What it mounts on and what is in the set The luminaire is intended for a pole with a Ø60 mm stem. Norlys builds this article from two parts: the fixture itself (art. 4306) and the Ø60 bracket (art. 7711) — the pole is not included and is chosen separately. An H05BQ-F 5G1 cable 6 m long is fitted at the factory and runs down to an installation box inside the pole. Its five cores include the earth conductor, which is necessary because the luminaire is protection class I. It weighs 2.8 kg net and arrives in a 50.5 × 12.5 × 8.5 cm carton. How much light it gives and how it spreads it The luminaire puts out 2711 lm for 19.6 W, which works out at 138.3 lm/W. 3000 K is warm white, and a colour rendering index of Ra 70 is what area lighting normally offers, where visibility matters more than colour fidelity. The distribution comes from a Ledil VSM lens, IESNA type V — a wide, symmetrical spread around the pole. The manufacturer calculates its photometric data for a 6 m mounting height, and that figure is where pole selection starts. Only 0.8% of the flux escapes upwards (ULOR), so almost all of the output reaches the ground below. Control and running The luminaire has DALI2 control together with a NightDim function. DALI is a digital bus rather than phase dimming — lowering the output needs a DALI controller or gateway, and an ordinary wall dimmer will do nothing here. The driver arrives programmed to the maximum permitted current. Flux maintenance is stated as L90B10 above 100,000 h to LM-80. Module and driver are both replaceable, but only by a qualified person — not a fitting whose source you change yourself. Resistance and build IP65 means fully dust-tight and resistant to water jets; IK10 is the top impact class on that scale. It runs from −20 to +45 °C, so it stays on the pole all year.
