Luces Exclusivas MONTEROS LE71334 LED garden bollard, grey, 60 cm, 3000 K, IP54

MONTEROS is a 60 cm outdoor bollard from Luces Exclusivas, built as an open frame: two slim painted-aluminium sides bridged by a head at the top and closed by a solid base at the bottom. The middle stays empty, so the fitting is not a solid block but a rectangular void cut into the garden — from close up you see straight through it. The body is grey, and a pale acrylic diffuser closes the head, aimed downwards into the opening. How this fitting lights The light does not spread all round. The source sits in the top bar and shines downwards through the open rectangle of the frame, laying a narrow, well-defined patch of light on the surface at the foot of the bollard. The rest of the housing stays dark. This is a directional solution, meant for marking the edge of a path, a driveway or garden steps — not for washing a lawn or a border across its width. The fitting comes complete: the LED source is integrated and supplied with it, in warm 3000 K and delivering 600 lm. That is typical for a fitting that orders a walkway — six hundred lumens at ground level reads clearly after dark, but does not replace a floodlight. The warm colour does not bleach planting and sits well alongside domestic façade lighting. Power: the manufacturer publishes two different numbers Worth knowing before purchase, because it affects running cost and circuit design. In its parameter table Luces Exclusivas enters "max source power: 5 W" and "number of sources: 1", while the row describing the supplied source reads "LED 2×5 W, 600 lm, 3000 K" — that is, two 5 W modules, 10 W in total. The manufacturer does not resolve the discrepancy. A practical pointer: 600 lm at 10 W gives 60 lm/W, a typical figure for an outdoor fitting behind an acrylic diffuser; at 5 W it would be 120 lm/W, which would be exceptionally high for this class of product. Both figures are given here as the manufacturer publishes them, without arbitrating — for installation design it is safer to assume 10 W per fitting. Protection: what IP54 means at ground level The first digit means limited dust protection (dust may enter, but not in a quantity that impairs operation); the second, protection against splashing water from any direction. For a fitting standing at ground level that is a basic grade: rain and damp are no problem, whereas a hose jet, a sprinkler aimed straight at it, or standing in a puddle are. When planning, place the bollard outside irrigation reach and where water does not pool after heavy rain — the aluminium and acrylic housing will handle weather, but not immersion. Dimensions and build The fitting is 60 cm tall, 20 cm wide and only 10 cm deep — distinctly flat, so set along a path it takes up little room and almost disappears when seen edge-on. The body is aluminium, the diffuser acrylic. Supply is standard 230 V, fed from below. The same head appears in the MONTEROS family in a second format: LE71335 has the same 20 cm width and 10 cm depth but stands only 10 cm tall, with the identical 2×5 W / 600 lm / 3000 K source. If a scheme is to look consistent — bollards along a path and a low fitting at steps or on a wall — both come from one family and share the finish. Specifications Manufacturer name and code: MONTEROS, LE71334 Type: outdoor bollard, directional fitting Dimensions: height 60 cm × width 20 cm × depth 10 cm Light source: integrated LED, included Luminous flux: 600 lm Light colour: 3000 K (warm white) Power: the manufacturer states "max source power 5 W" and simultaneously "LED 2×5 W" (10 W total) — see the note above Voltage: 230 V Ingress protection: IP54 Material: aluminium (body), acrylic (diffuser) Colour: grey What the manufacturer does not publish Candidly: the MONTEROS sheet omits several figures worth asking about before buying in quantity — protection class, beam angle, colour rendering index, declared LED module life, dimmability and the weight of the fitting. Nor is the fixing method to the ground given (hole pattern, availability of an anchor). There is no EAN in the documentation either — the fitting is identified by the code LE71334. On a specified project these are best confirmed with the manufacturer directly. Worth knowing before you order The light goes down, not around — one fitting lights a patch of surface at its own foot. A longer path is planned as several units at regular spacing. The source is integrated and not user-replaceable — no bulb to buy, but none to change years later either. IP54 is the garden minimum — keep it away from sprinklers and from places where water collects. To match within the same family: the low LE71335 version (10 cm tall) with an identical finish and the same source.Mostrar mais
