Microsolv HPLC Column Cogent RP C30, 200 Å, 5 μm, 2.1 x 50 mm
This Cogent C30™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. Not end capped, it is manufactured with traditional bonding of a ligand that has an average length of 30 carbons to the highest purity silica available, making this column ideal as an Alternate in USP Methods that use the L62 Classification or for new methods. With a 10 µm Particle, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures. Used for long-chain, mostly hydrophobic positional, isomers. They are often a better alternative to the normal phase columns and methods for the same compounds as they do not suffer from the typical problems of normal phase HPLC. Due to the 200A pore size these are an excellent choice for large molecules such as carotenoids, vitamins, peptides and some proteins.
