LUMINES SONO recessed LED profile, lacquered white, 1 m

Name: LUMINES SONO recessed LED profile, lacquered white, 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES SONO is a white lacquered aluminium profile for recessed installation in a plasterboard ceiling or wall. This 1 m section has an angled channel for an LED strip and side flanges for plastering into the surrounding surface. It is a component for built-in lighting, rather than a complete surface-mounted lamp.Plan the direction of the accent lightThe SONO cross-section directs light at an angle towards a chosen surface. This makes its orientation important when designing illumination for a wall or an architectural detail: it does not distribute light in the same direction as a channel facing straight out from its mounting surface. The recessed cover also reduces the direct view of the light source. Decide which way the channel should face before completing the plasterboard construction. This type of accent lighting can be planned for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, kitchens and corridors, as well as offices, hotels, restaurants and shops. The required brightness still needs to be addressed when choosing the LED strip. The profile itself does not determine the light colour, power consumption or luminous output.Check the cross-section, not just the lengthThe variant offered here is 1000 mm long. Its overall width, including the flanges, is 65 mm and its cross-section height is 24.9 mm. The overall width is not the LED channel width or the installation cut-out dimension; use the cross-section drawing and mounting diagrams when planning the opening. SONO accommodates one LED strip up to 12 mm wide.Choose matching SONO componentsThe system uses a compatible BASIC cover and SONO end caps. The manufacturer presents these and the LED strip as separate system components; an assembly illustration does not establish that a complete light fitting is supplied. Select the cover and end pieces for your installation and allow for a power supply outside the profile. The manufacturer does not provide for sealing this system. The lacquered white finish and recessed linear form suit modern and minimalist built-in schemes. The angled light direction, available installation space and SONO accessory compatibility remain the practical reasons to choose this profile.Mostrar mais
