The Lillehammer 2292 is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular box of cast aluminium, powder-coated in cement grey. The lens is clear safety glass, and a silicone gasket and EPDM gland close the housing. The fitting is 18.5 cm tall, 11 cm wide and stands 8 cm clear of the wall. How it lights and where that makes sense Light leaves downward only, in a 60° cone, and lands on the wall directly beneath the fitting. 105 lm come out of the luminaire itself at 2700 K, a very warm tone close to an old incandescent bulb — this is accent lighting for a facade, a doorway or a flight of steps, not a light source for reading a house number from the far side of a drive. The upward light output ratio is 0%, so the fitting sends no light at all towards the sky and is marked as dark-sky friendly. With several of them along a facade that direction is what decides the effect: neighbouring cones set up a rhythm of bright bands on the wall. Dimming — with what, and with what not The fitting dims, but only on a trailing-edge phase dimmer (TE, RC type). An older leading-edge R/RL dimmer, already sitting in the wall box in many houses, will not drive it — worth checking before ordering, because swapping a dimmer costs less than swapping a wall light. Fitting and running it It screws on through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow 3 × 1.5 mm² to be carried onward, so a row runs on one supply line looped through. The gland accepts a round cable ø7–10.5 mm, and the fitting belongs to protection class I, so an earth conductor is required. The housing is rated IP65 — dust-tight and able to take a jet of water from a nozzle — and IK08 for impact. The LED module and the control gear are both replaceable by a qualified technician, and the maker rates the driver at 50,000 hours.Mostrar mais
