A metre of light over the table Zambelis 25426 is a pendant 120.7 cm long and just 5 cm wide. That proportion has a specific job: the bar spans the length of a typical six-seat table and spreads light evenly across the whole top, instead of cutting a bright circle out of it under a single shade. Overall height is 22 cm and the profile itself is 3 × 2 cm in section. The fitting hangs on an adjustable 200 cm cable, so the drop is set on site — usually 70–80 cm above a dining table, a little higher over a kitchen island. The ceiling rose is small: Ø 12.4 cm and 3 cm deep. Gold metal and clear glass The structure is metal and aluminium in gold, with clear glass. Unlike opal, colourless glass does not hide the light source — you see into the fitting, and the reflections on the gold profile become part of the effect. It suits interiors where the light is meant to read as a piece of the décor rather than only as a source of illumination. Light distribution covers a full 360°, so the fitting does more than light the table top: it brightens the space around it and the ceiling above. Worth allowing for at the planning stage — under a low pale ceiling, the reflected component noticeably lifts the general brightness of the room. That is the measure of colour consistency between individual units — below 2, a difference in tint is effectively invisible to the naked eye. Hang two or three of these bars in one room and they will light identically. The fitting is TRIAC dimmable, meaning an ordinary trailing-edge wall dimmer. No control system and no DALI driver are required — swapping the switch for a dimmer is enough. Supply, lifetime and installation Mains supply is 220–240 V, while the module itself runs at 27–42 V DC drawing 500 mA. Stated lifetime is 30,000 hours to L70B50 — after which half the units retain at least 70% of their initial output. The operating range of −25 to 45 °C is unusually wide for an indoor IP20 fitting. The luminaire is protection class I, so the installation must carry an earth conductor — the metal body has to be bonded. Fitting is best left to an electrician. Gross weight is 2.7 kg, energy class D, and the manufacturer backs it with a three-year warranty.
