NORLYS Larvik 690GA outdoor wall light, hot-dip galvanised, louvred diffuser, E27, IP55

Name: NORLYS Larvik 690GA outdoor wall light, hot-dip galvanised, louvred diffuser, E27, IP55
Brand: NORLYS

Larvik 690GA is an outdoor wall light in Scandinavian style: a horizontal arm coming out of a round wall plate carries a clear cylindrical diffuser ringed by three horizontal louvres, with a wide top disc 28.5 cm across above them. The steel is hot-dip galvanised, so the light has the silvery-grey metallic look of zinc. Dimensions and mounting The light is 27 cm tall and holds the diffuser 32 cm away from the wall, and the round wall plate is 11.5 cm in diameter. Compare that projection of over 30 cm with the space at your door – the fitting must not get in the way of a door leaf opening or a downpipe. The fitting is mounted with the supplied mounting box. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the light can be looped through with conductors up to 2 × 1.5 mm² to supply another one. The cable gland takes a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. For mounting on the corner of a building Norlys offers corner bracket 153, sold separately. The light weighs 2.2 kg. Light source Inside is an E27 socket for an A55–A60 shaped bulb, LED up to 9 W. No bulb is included – an LED bulb of about 800 lm gives as much light as an old 60 W incandescent, and 2700–3000 K is the usual choice at a front door. The diffuser is clear, so the bulb is visible, and the louvres send the light down and sideways rather than straight into the eyes. Weather resistance Hot-dip galvanising is a zinc layer formed by dipping the steel in molten metal – it protects against corrosion and weathers over time to an even matt grey. The optical chamber is sealed to IP55, meaning protection against dust and water jets from any direction, and the IK07 impact rating protects the UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser. Protection class II means double insulation with no earth conductor. A damaged diffuser can be ordered as service kit 06240003.Mostrar mais
