Highland Cow & Pheasant Ornament Gallery Direct Bronze Black Polyresin 24x8x18.5cm

Name: Highland Cow & Pheasant Ornament Gallery Direct Bronze Black Polyresin 24x8x18.5cm
Brand: Gallery Direct

Gallery Direct's Highland Cow & Pheasant ornament depicts a Highland cow with a pheasant standing on its back. Wide horns, a long fringe and deeply modelled fur distinguish it from smooth, simplified animal ornaments. The figure is made from polyresin rather than metal, with a finish combining bronze colouring and black.Allowing space for the whole silhouetteThe ornament measures 24 cm deep, 8 cm wide and 18.5 cm high. Compare all three measurements with the space available before placing it in a shelving unit, including the clearance above the cow's back where the bird stands. A side view reveals both the cow's outline and the pheasant's long tail; seen from the front, the composition is considerably narrower. An animal ornament for indoor displayThe manufacturer specifies indoor use and suggests display on a shelf or side table. The animal subject and textured coat give the piece a rustic character, while dark recesses and bronze-coloured highlights pick out the sculpted detail. These features suit rustic and vintage decorative arrangements. Greenery, candles and the other objects shown in the room photograph provide a setting for the ornament rather than identifying additional parts of the figure.Mostrar mais
